Crinkle Paper Mushroom Lamp
Limited stock, ready to ship
“I've been slowly redoing my home office to feel less sterile and this lamp was exactly what I needed to finish the corner behind my desk. The glow it produces is warm without being too dim to actually function in the room, which I was worried about with a paper shade. It arrived faster than expected and was packaged really carefully. I've had a few people on video calls actually ask what the lamp behind me is, which I think says it all.”
“Perfect lamp for a moody, cozy living room vibe.”
“I was skeptical about ordering a paper lamp online because you just never know how these things will actually hold up. Pleasantly surprised though, the material feels nothing like regular paper and the shape holds really well. The crinkle texture is genuinely lovely when it's lit up, gives it this kind of organic quality. My only small note is the base is a bit lighter than I expected so on an uneven surface it can be slightly wobbly.”
“Super cute and the light it casts is really soft and diffused which is perfect for winding down at night. Assembly was straightforward enough though I had to read the instructions twice to get the shade seated properly. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting something a bit more sculptural than a regular bedside lamp.”
“Bought this as a birthday gift for my sister who's really into that cottagecore aesthetic and she absolutely lost it when she opened it. The packaging was neat and it arrived well protected so nothing was damaged. She set it up the same day and sent me photos of it lit up in her bedroom and it honestly looks stunning.”
“Really lovely lamp, the mushroom shape is so charming and it gives off the most beautiful warm glow in the evenings. The paper shade feels more durable than I expected which was a nice surprise. Only thing I'd say is the cord is a bit shorter than I anticipated so just measure your space before you order.”

You know that moment when the overhead light feels too harsh for a quiet evening, but a single candle is not quite enough. A crinkle paper mushroom lamp fills that gap with a soft, diffused glow that settles a room without any glare.
The lamp takes its shape from traditional Japanese paper lanterns: a wide shade sitting over a crinkled dupont paper column. The textured, hand-crinkled surface catches the light unevenly, giving it a gentle, organic quality rather than a flat, even glow.
Its pale, natural tone and simple lines sit comfortably in Japandi, minimalist or contemporary rooms, whether placed beside a reading chair or in a quiet corner of a bedroom.
The crinkle paper lamp is made from dupont paper over a metal frame, in a soft white finish. Choose the table lamp (50 cm wide, 51 cm high) or the floor lamp (75 cm wide, 155 cm high), so you can pick the scale that suits your space.
The fitting takes a standard E27 bulb, which is not included, and runs on UK 220 to 240V mains power with a UK 3-pin plug. A simple inline switch turns it on and off, with a 150 cm cord to reach a nearby socket.
As a natural material, the crinkled paper shade responds to humidity, so the lamp is best kept in normal indoor conditions rather than damp rooms such as bathrooms.

Looks even better in person than in the photos.
I bought this for my reading nook and honestly it transformed the whole corner. The crinkled paper texture catches the light in a way that looks almost alive, like the lamp is glowing from within rather than just lighting a space. I was a little nervous ordering a paper lamp because I figured it would feel cheap in person, but the DuPont material feels really substantial and not flimsy at all. Setup took me maybe ten minutes and the E27 fitting meant I could swap in a warm Edison bulb I already had. My partner walked in and immediately asked where I got it and whether we could get another one for the bedroom. Genuinely one of the best little home updates I've made this year.
I compared this to a similar mushroom lamp I had from a different brand and the build quality here is noticeably better, the shade material in particular feels much more considered. The light distribution through the crinkled paper is really even and gives the whole room a gentle ambient feel rather than a harsh point of light. My one small observation is that the instructions could be a touch clearer but it wasn't difficult to figure out.
Arrived quickly and the quality genuinely exceeded my expectations.
Really happy with how this looks in my apartment, it's become a bit of a conversation piece. The DuPont paper has this nice crinkled texture that you can see even when the lamp is off which I wasn't fully expecting. Took a little while to get the shade positioned just right but once it was set it stayed perfectly.
