What's in the Box

The door stop alarm arrives as a single unit, ready to position under a door.

Placing the Door Stop Alarm

  1. Choose the door you want to protect and clear the floor in front of it.
  2. Slide the metal tip of the wedge under the door, wherever it grips best on your floor.
  3. Push the wedge firmly forward until it sits snugly against the floor and the door.
  4. Switch the alarm on using the button on top of the unit.
  5. Test the door gently to confirm the wedge is seated before leaving the room.
  6. Press the button again to switch the alarm off when you want to move the door freely.

How the Alarm Works

The alarm uses a pressure sensor built into the wedge. When someone pushes the door from the outside, the wedge is pressed against the floor and the sensor sets off the 120 dB alarm.

Placement Advice

The door stop alarm works on hard floors such as parquet, tile, laminate and concrete. It is sized to slide under a standard interior door and fits in a bag, so it travels easily for hotel rooms or shared accommodation.

Care

Wipe the plastic body and metal tip with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid submerging the unit in water, as it contains electronic parts.

The wedge is made with a metal tip and a compact plastic body in black with a silver insert, built to slide firmly under a door and stay in place.

A built-in pressure sensor triggers a 120 dB alarm automatically as soon as the door is pushed from outside. There is no mounting, no drilling and no wiring: you simply place it under the door and it is ready.

It is compact enough to fit in a bag, which makes it practical for travel, hotel stays and shared housing where a permanent fitting is not an option. The alarm can be switched off again at the push of a button.
