This ocean projector throws a soft, rotating scene of sea creatures across a wall or ceiling. The shapes are gently blurred rather than sharp, so it reads as ambient light rather than a screen, which suits a bedroom or nursery far better than a bright beam.
The scene turns slowly through a full 360 degrees, drifting around the room instead of sitting still, and a remote lets anyone change the colour or mode from across the room.
The ocean projector sits on a raised, angled base that tilts the beam upward onto a wall or ceiling, so it works equally well on a nightstand, a shelf, or the floor beside a bed.
A single tap on the top button turns it on or off, and holding the button for two seconds or more adjusts the brightness smoothly between 20% and 100%. The included remote control changes colour and projection mode without anyone needing to get up.
It runs from a low-power 5V USB connection at 3W, so it can be plugged in or used with the included cable, and the projection disc gives 22 ocean-themed scenes to cycle through.

Got this as a gift for my sister who just moved into her first apartment and she absolutely loves it. She said it makes her room feel like a spa and she's been using it every night while she reads before bed. I bought this for my toddler who has always had a hard time settling down at night and honestly I wasn't expecting much for the price. We set it up the first evening and she just laid there staring at the ceiling with this big smile on her face, completely calm. The rotating ocean effect is so soothing and the colors are really pretty, not too harsh or too dim. The remote is a huge bonus because I can turn it off after she falls asleep without going back in the room and risking waking her up. The build quality feels decent, nothing flimsy about it, and the remote means I can control it from the hallway after I tuck him in.
