What's in the Box

The house number arrives as a single illuminated digit, with the solar panel built into its face. Each digit is sold individually, so order one unit per character in your address.

Wall Installation

  1. Choose a wall position where the panel will catch direct sunlight during the day.
  2. Hold the digit against the wall and mark the fixing points.
  3. Drill the marked holes and insert suitable wall plugs for your wall type.
  4. Fix the digit to the wall using appropriate screws.
  5. Leave the unit in full sunlight to charge before first use.
  6. Check that the digit lights up automatically once it gets dark.

Solar Charging and the Dusk Sensor

The integrated solar panel gathers sunlight during the day and stores it for use after dark. Once ambient light drops low enough, the built-in dusk sensor switches the warm-white LED on automatically, and switches it off again at daybreak. There is no cable to run and no switch to operate.

Placement Advice

Choose a spot on the facade that receives good daylight, since the amount of light reaching the panel affects how well the digit charges. If your address uses more than one character, mount each digit at the same height and with even spacing for a tidy, uniform look. The three available heights make it possible to match the number to the scale of your facade.

Care and Cleaning

Wipe the ABS casing with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and grime. Keep the surface of the solar panel clear of dirt, leaves or cobwebs so it continues to charge efficiently through the seasons.

Each digit is moulded from weatherproof ABS plastic, built to handle rain, wind and frost on an exterior wall. An integrated solar panel sits across the face of the number and charges through the day, powering the warm-white LED through the night.

A dusk sensor switches the light on automatically, so there is nothing to set or remember. It simply reacts to falling light levels and turns off again at dawn.

The house number is available in three heights, 12 cm, 17 cm and 23 cm, and in digits 0 to 9 plus the letters A to D. Mount several side by side to spell out a full address with a consistent, tidy look.
