Before You Begin

This pendant light requires hardwired ceiling installation. If you are not confident working with mains wiring, please consult a qualified electrician. The fitting operates on 220V to 240V and supports a maximum bulb wattage of 60W.

The lamp uses an E27 screw cap fitting, compatible with LED, halogen, and energy-saving bulbs. We recommend an LED bulb to keep running costs low and heat output minimal.

Installation Steps

1. 1. Switch off the power at the mains before touching any ceiling wiring.
2. 2. Fix the ceiling canopy bracket securely to a ceiling joist or suitable wall plug, ensuring it can bear the weight of the fitting.
3. 3. Connect the pendant cable to your ceiling wiring — live to live, neutral to neutral, and earth to earth. Follow current UK wiring regulations.
4. 4. Thread the cable through the canopy and attach the canopy to the bracket to conceal the wiring neatly.
5. 5. Adjust the hanging height by shortening or lengthening the cable as needed. Over a dining table, a drop that positions the shade roughly 70 to 80 cm above the surface works well for most rooms.
6. 6. Screw in your chosen E27 bulb, restore power at the mains, and test the light.

Placement Tips

This pendant suits dining areas, living rooms, and hallways equally well. Its geometric glass design draws the eye, so position it where it can be appreciated as a focal point rather than tucked into a corner.

For open-plan spaces, consider hanging two or three pendants in a row above a kitchen island or long dining table for a striking, cohesive look.

Cleaning & Care

Always switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning. Wipe the glass shade with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the glass surface.

Clean the metal frame with a dry microfibre cloth to maintain its finish. Do not use chemical sprays directly on the fitting.
