Setup & Care

What's in the Box

The box arrives with the metal panels, lid, lock fittings and fixing hardware needed for assembly. A separate assembly manual is provided for each capacity, so check you have the correct one for your size.

Assembly

  1. Lay out all panels and hardware and check them against the assembly manual for your size.
  2. Two to three people are needed to help with assembly, along with a ladder and gloves for the larger sizes.
  3. Fit the base panels together first, then build up the side walls using the supplied hardware.
  4. Attach the lid last, making sure the hydraulic pistons are connected securely on both sides.
  5. Check all fixings are tight before use.
  6. Anchor the box in place once assembly is finished.

Using the Lock and Lid

The hydraulic pistons let the lid open and close with one hand, without the need to prop it up. A lockable catch on the lid helps keep stored items secure between uses.

Placement Advice

Stand the box on a flat, level surface such as a patio, deck or garden path. The smaller 380 L and 455 L sizes suit compact patios, while the 570 L to 757 L sizes give more room for furniture cushions or several sets of garden tools.

Care and Cleaning

Wipe the galvanised steel panels with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the coating over time.
