What's in the Box

This wall sconce ships as the light fitting itself, ready to be hardwired into the mains. As it does not use a plug or batteries, it should be connected by someone qualified to work with mains electricity.

Installation

  1. Switch off the power at the fuse box before starting any electrical work.
  2. Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at the chosen position and mark the fixing points.
  3. Drill and fit the wall plugs, then secure the bracket firmly to the wall.
  4. Connect the mains wiring to the terminal block: live to live, neutral to neutral, and earth to earth. If you are at all unsure, use a qualified electrician.
  5. Attach the resin body to the bracket and fix it in place.
  6. Restore power at the fuse box and check that the sconce switches on as expected.

Light and Ambience

The integrated LED produces a warm white glow along the length of the fixture, giving a soft, even wash of light rather than a single bright point. It suits rooms where a calm, ambient light is wanted alongside the main room lighting.

Placement Advice

With a stated coverage of around 3 to 5 square metres, this sconce is sized for smaller rooms. It works well either side of a bed, in a study, or as an accent beside a doorway or hallway mirror, rather than as the sole light source in a larger living room.

Care

Switch off and allow the fixture to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe the resin surface and the metal parts gently with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could mark the finish.

Built From Resin and Metal

The sconce is made from resin with a marble-effect finish, set into an iron frame and bracket finished in gold or black, so it can match either warm or cooler metal tones already in the room.

Two sizes are offered: 40 cm or 50 cm long, both 6 cm in diameter, so you can match the length to the wall and the furniture beside it.

The integrated warm white LED is suited to small rooms, with a stated coverage of around 3 to 5 square metres, making it suited to studies, bedrooms and similar spaces rather than large open rooms.

As a hardwired fixture, it is fitted directly to the mains and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
